I gave him one of his Take 'n Toss sippy cups a few days ago. He kept coming over to me on the couch and giving me drinks. I didn't really take a drink, but I would pretend and say, "Mmm! Thank you!" So, of course, he kept doing it. Later on I noticed that after he had been sipping at it for about an hour or so, the cup was still almost full. I then tried to take an actual sip to find out nothing was really coming out. Poor kid wasn't trying to give me drinks, :( he was trying to show me it wasn't working haha! He chews on them so hard that it must have closed up the little holes or something. I then got him a new lid and threw that one away :)
The other day we got Lucas to go on his potty a few times - picture of how that went on previous post. When he does go, he gets two Swedish Fish, and he always begs for them at other times, "Fish! Fish!" And we say, "No, Lucas. Those are potty treats. You have to go pee pee or poo poo on the potty to get fish." Anyway, I was super tired either that day or the next - I can't remember - and I sat him down with Sesame Street and some Mini Charleston Chews, pictured below (from my previous Hunger Games and chocolate night). Yeah, yeah, lazy mom. I know.
Well, after a little while Lucas comes running up to the bed - like 10 feet away - exclaiming, "Fish! Fish!" He still had his diaper on, so I knew he hadn't gone on the potty. Later, what do I find in his potty?? Mini Charleston Chews. I guess he figured those looked like poop and maybe they would pass! Silly kid!

Now that is hilarious!
