Just Me and V

This weekend, Levi and Lucas went fishing with Grandpa Billy. They left Via and Mommy at home alone :) The house stayed clean for an entire day!!! It's amazing how quickly that little man gets into things haha! This is Lucas with his first fish... He was holding the pole while Daddy reeled it in, anyway :)

With the boys gone, I got the dishes done, carpet vacuumed, 4 loads of laundry done, including hand washing stains, all homework for next week done, and I think 7 episodes of Drop Dead Diva Season 3 watched! Via didn't wake up until 8 this morning, so I was able to sleep in a bit as well ;) I put Via in her Bumbo to watch me stain treat some laundry, but apparently this is what she thought of it...

It was so cute watching her just drift off and fall asleep like that <3

The boys got home this afternoon. I accidentally left a pen a pen down - since Via couldn't get to it, I left it out while they were gone - but when Lucas came home, he found it, of course! Yes. He drew all over the couch. My new couch. My heart dropped...

BUT!!! Thanks to my Pinterest addiction, I knew to look for a solution on there :) Hairspray and hand sanitizer takes ink out of fabric. Really. (It's the hairspray you see in the bottom right of the picture above. Yes. There was more. It was ALL over the large cushion :( This is how it looks now...

No more ink!! You can see it's a bit darker where it was still a little damp from the wet cloth, but it's all dry now and back to normal!!! <3 Pinterest


It has already been an interesting weekend, and I am definitely expecting an interesting week ahead. Levi leaves tomorrow for Dallas for his interview Monday morning. He will be back Monday evening, he will be here Tuesday, but he then heads to Denver Wednesday morning and will be gone until Friday night. Good thing we have awesome friends and family or else I think I might go insane. Levi does so much to help out with the kids... Wish me luck!! And good luck to my awesome husband with his interview!!!
