Goats and Books and Toilets, Oh My!

We went to the zoo yesterday!! I didn't even know there was a zoo in Pocatello until recently. I didn't take many pictures of the animals since Lucas wasn't too interested in it. The part I loved about those ones were how close we got to the moose. They were sitting right next to the fence, so we were only a few feet away from 3 young ones :) The rest was mostly just pushing the stroller around (and up and down since there are major hills at this zoo) and pointing the animals out to an uninterested 2 year old. Then we got to the goats... Lucas was enthralled! It was a petting zoo with like 7 goats that Lucas was so comfortable around! I was so surprised. He loves puppies, but will rarely pet them. I figured he wouldn't pet the goats either...

After the zoo we went to the library and got a card so we can check out books here. Ours are getting kind of boring ;) I will definitely be going on a book spree when we get some real money coming in ha!

The zoo has a really cool treehouse with a slide and a few other educational things - Here is Daddy and Via going down the slide!

Here's a random moment of the day... We got Lucas to go on the potty a few times last night, so we let him just run around naked (but he had to have his shoes on, of course :) ). I brought the potty out into the front room and told him to just sit on it and watch Elmo. But does this kid ever just sit?? Not really. So this is what we ended up with for a little bit before diapering him again - toting his little toilet all around the house. Naked. With shoes.
